Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has addressed the ongoing speculation surrounding Rodrygo, emphasizing that his focus remains on the Brazilian’s commitment to the team rather than the transfer noise.

Rodrygo has been strongly linked with a potential big-money move to Manchester City, with reports suggesting that the Premier League champions are preparing a significant bid for the 23-year-old forward.

“There are a lot of rumours during the summer. He’s been doing well. I’m counting on everyone, and I want them to be committed to and for the team and to be at 100%. That’s what worries me and what’s occupying me right now,” Alonso said.
