Brad Pitt’s Los Angeles Home in Escrow After Burglary Incident

Brad Pitt’s Los Angeles home, the same property that was burglarized earlier this summer, is officially in escrow — but sources confirm the sale was already in progress before the break-in.
According to real estate insiders, the actor’s hillside Los Feliz property is currently under contract in an off-market deal. Interest in the home surged once word spread, unsurprising given the property’s Hollywood history and Pitt’s star power.
The residence, a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom modernist home built in 1960, is known as “The Steel House.” It boasts sweeping views of Los Angeles and a legacy of celebrity ownership. Pitt purchased the property in 2023 for $5.5 million from Aileen Getty, who had previously acquired it from James Valentine of Maroon 5 in 2019.
In June 2025, the home made headlines after a burglary, though Pitt was not present during the incident. Despite speculation, sources emphasize that Pitt had already been working on selling the home before the break-in occurred.
With its architecture, location, and Hollywood ties, the sale of Brad Pitt’s Los Feliz home is attracting major buzz in the luxury real estate market.
